Brush the dirt off your butt. It was a slip, not a fatal fall. On the road to your goals you may stumble, you may get lost, you may come across negative people who care more about helping you give up than give more.
Don't listen to people who always seem to have great advice but never have great results of their own. Just smile at them and keep going!
The key to staying focused on your goal is to first understand that there will be times when you WILL lose focus. Secondly, the key to achieving your goal is to not allow the slip, or fall to become a "trend."
Achieving goals is a game of momentum & routine!
Establish Personal Winning Routines (PWR) around all the goals you want to make happen. And build into that routine contingencies for the time you may slip up. What I mean is, build failure into your winning routine.
Think about all of the relevant ways you may get derailed, or lose focus and then establish what steps you'll immediately take to get yourself back on track. Now, if and when those mistakes happen you know exactly what to do to get back on track!
There's a routine for everything. Establish your routine, and make sure you include what you will do during those times you will inevitably lose focus!
